We are delighted to announce that The Royal Oak, Wantage (Royal Oak), is the White Horse CAMRA Pub of the Year for 2018. The award is the result of a ballot of Branch members. The Shoulder Of Mutton (Shoulder of Mutton) in Wantage is our runner up, The Greyhound (Greyhound Inn) in Letcombe Regis is our Country Pub of the Year, and the Stanford-In-The-Vale Social Club (Stanford Social Club) is our Club of the Year. All concerned received certificates at a ceremony at last-week’s Wantage Beer Festival. Many congratulations to all concerned.

The Royal Oak will now go forward to the Oxfordshire CAMRA competition.
